This Warranty outlines the terms and conditions for the use of our services between “The Customer” and Gator Floor Coatings. Any modifications to the scope of work specified in this agreement must be documented through a written change order.

Color Variations: Due to uncontrollable color tinting variations, colors, textures, patterns, and shading may differ across projects. Color and texture samples are approximations and may deviate from the completed project.

Warranty Details: Our Full Chip Systems, including Polyaspartic Full Chip, Granite Chrome, and Metallic Systems, carry a 15-year warranty against chipping, peeling, or delamination from beneath car tires. The Partial Chip System has a 5-year warranty for the same conditions. This warranty excludes damage caused by substrate movement, improper use, and tire tread marks. Defects arising from osmotic vapor blistering and moisture-related issues are not covered.

All repairs or corrections address the specific defective area unless determined otherwise by Gator Floor Coatings. Due to the inherent properties of epoxy and urethanes, repaired areas may not precisely match the original work.

Concrete Wear and Tear: The “Apron,” the portion of concrete outside the closed garage door, may fade due to Florida’s intense sun exposure, constituting normal wear and tear and falling outside the warranty. No warranty covers imprinted tire marks if the customer drives on the floor before the specified time.

Transfer and Ownership: Our warranty extends solely to the original buyer on record or the contractor-specified owner or tenant. Lifetime warranties do not transfer upon property sale or transfer.

Paver Sealing Warranty: Paver Sealing carries a 2-year warranty against material defects and delamination off paver bricks.

Surface Preparation and Concrete Cracks: Customers are responsible for protecting sensitive items during concrete surface preparation. While efforts are made to address concrete cracks, Gator Floor Coatings does not guarantee that they will not reappear.

Credit Card Authorization: By providing credit card information, the customer authorizes Gator Floor Coatings to process payments for services rendered.

Additional Charges and Changes: The customer agrees that unforeseen circumstances may warrant additional charges, requiring a written change order or correction before additional work is undertaken.

Payment Terms: Payment is due on the last day of installation. If full payment is not received within 10 days of project completion, late fees and a prelien notice will be initiated.

Dry Times and Procedures After Install: Following installation, please allow at least one complete day before returning storage items to the floor. Automobiles can be parked in the garage after 5 full days of cure time, or 36 hours when using our Polyaspartic Fast Cure Top Coats.

Cleaning Instructions: Epoxy floors can be cleaned with mild cleaners such as Windex, Spray Fantastic, Spray 409, Simple Green, or similar mild floor cleaners. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or substances like Comet Cleanser, Murphy’s Oil Soap, and sanding disks.

Commercial Warranty: Our standard commercial warranty covers a term of 1 year, with conditions similar to those outlined above. No warranties are provided for damage related to concrete osmotic pressure or silicates extruding from concrete.
